Self-check and Others
1. Check of the 1mA value in varistor test
Select "Varistor" test, turn on high voltage, adjust the preset voltage to above 10V, short-circuit the "+" and "-" terminals of the test holes, the display should show "000". Press and hold the "Display Switch" key, it should show "1000". If the displayed value differs greatly, it indicates a problem with the instrument; please contact after-sales personnel promptly.
2. Check of the 0.75U1mA value in varistor test
With the test terminals open, when pressing the test key to perform the test, the display should show the upper limit of the range. While the green light is on, press and hold the "Display Switch" key, it should show 0.75 times the upper limit of the range.
3. During testing of the specimen, press and hold the "Display Switch" key: during the U1mA measurement period, it displays the value under test condition 1mA (1000μA); during the I0.75U1mA measurement period, it displays the value under test condition 0.75U1mA.
Others: Using the voltage preset and range adjustment functions, it can be used as a 1999V/1mA DC regulated voltage source and a 1mA constant current source (when the load current reaches 1mA, the instrument outputs a constant 1mA test current). In conjunction with the "Display Switch" key, it can measure load voltage and current (V/I characteristics) values.
After Test
Click the "High Voltage Start/Stop" key to turn off the test voltage, and turn off the power switch. When using an external DC 12V power supply, the power cord should be removed.
