Silent Generator - Level 4 Acceptance Test Equipment Type Introduction:

Due to the different forms of energy, different types can be manufactured.

By utilizing water resources in conjunction with water turbines, hydroelectric generators can be made; depending on the reservoir capacity and water head difference, hydroelectric generators with varying capacities and speeds can be produced.

By utilizing coal, petroleum, and other resources, along with boilers and steam turbines, steam turbine generators can be made, which are mostly high-speed generators (3000rpm).

In addition, there are various types of generators that utilize wind energy, nuclear energy, geothermal energy, tidal energy, and other energy sources.

Furthermore, based on the working principle, generators are divided into DC generators, asynchronous generators, and synchronous generators. Currently, the widely used large generators are synchronous generators.

Silent Generator - Level 4 Acceptance Test Equipment Working Principle:

It is mainly composed of components such as the stator, rotor, end cover, brushes, base, and bearings.

The stator consists of the base, stator core, coil windings, and other structural parts that fix these components.

The rotor consists of the rotor core, rotor poles (with magnetic yoke and pole windings), slip rings (also known as copper rings or collector rings), fan, and shaft.

The stator and rotor are connected and assembled through bearings, base, and end covers, allowing the rotor to rotate within the stator. A certain excitation current is passed through the slip rings, making the rotor a rotating magnetic field. The stator coils cut the magnetic field lines, generating an induced electromotive force, which is led out through terminal blocks and connected in the circuit, thus producing current. Due to the open circuit at the connection between the brushes and the rotor, the rotor rotates in a certain direction, generating alternating current. Therefore, household circuits and other circuits use alternating current, abbreviated as AC. The frequency of the output current of China's power grid is 50 Hz.

Installation Regulations

I. Preparation before unit startup

1. Check the oil level of lubricating oil, coolant level, and fuel quantity

2. Check all pipelines and joints of the diesel engine's fuel supply, lubrication, cooling, and other systems for oil or water leakage

3. Check electrical lines for insulation damage and other leakage hazards, whether the grounding wire and electrical lines are loose, and whether the connection between the unit and the foundation is firm

4. If the ambient temperature is below zero, a certain proportion of antifreeze must be added to the radiator.

5. For the first startup of the diesel generator set or after a long shutdown, use a hand pump to exhaust the air in the fuel system before starting again.

Main Applications:

1. AC withstand voltage test for 6kV-500kV high-voltage cross-linked cables

2. AC withstand voltage test for generators

3. AC withstand voltage test for GIS and SF6 switches

4. Power frequency withstand voltage test for 6kV-500kV transformers

5. AC withstand voltage test for other high-voltage power equipment such as busbars, bushings, and instrument transformers.

◆ Series resonance devices are widely used in power, metallurgy, petroleum, chemical, and other industries, suitable for large-capacity, high-voltage capacitive test objects such as generators, transformers, GIS, high-voltage cross-linked cables, instrument transformers, bushings, etc., for commissioning tests and preventive tests.

II. Startup

1. After closing the fuse in the control box, press the start button and hold it for 3-5 seconds. If startup fails, wait about 20 seconds before trying again. If multiple startup attempts fail, stop the startup operation, troubleshoot factors such as battery voltage or fuel circuit faults, and then start again.

2. During startup, observe the oil pressure. If there is no oil pressure display or it is very low, stop immediately for inspection.

III. Operation

1. After the unit starts, check the parameters on the control box module: oil pressure, water temperature, voltage, frequency, etc.

2. Normally, after startup, the unit speed directly reaches the rated speed; for units with idle speed requirements, the idle time is generally 3-5 minutes, and should not be too long, otherwise it may burn out motor-related components.

3. Check the unit's oil circuit, water circuit, and electrical leakage conditions

4. Check the tightness of all connections of the unit for looseness and severe vibration.

5. Observe whether the various protection and monitoring devices of the unit are normal

6. When the speed reaches the rated speed and the parameters of no-load operation are stable, close the switch to supply power.

7. Check and confirm whether the parameters on the control panel are within the allowable range, and re-check the vibration of the unit for any three leaks or other faults.

8. Overloading is strictly prohibited during unit operation.

IV. Normal Shutdown

Before shutdown, the switch must be opened first. Generally, after unloading, run for 3-5 minutes before shutdown.

V. Emergency Shutdown

1. If abnormal conditions occur during generator set operation, it must be stopped immediately.

2. For emergency shutdown, press the emergency stop button or quickly push the fuel injection pump shutdown control handle to the stop position.

VI. Maintenance Matters

1. The replacement time for the diesel engine fuel filter is 300H; the air filter replacement time is every 400H; the first replacement time for the oil filter is 50H, and thereafter every 250H.

2. The first oil change time is 50H, and thereafter the normal oil change time is every 250H.
