Product Description

Purpose of Transformer Ratio Tester Test

1. Check whether the ratio matches the nameplate value to ensure the required voltage transformation is achieved.

2. Check whether the indicated position of the voltage tap changer is correct.

3. Check the turns ratio of each coil to determine whether there is inter-turn short circuit in the transformer.

4. Measure the unbalance degree of the transformation ratio of the three-phase transformer itself.

5. Provide the accuracy of the transformation ratio to determine whether the transformers can operate in parallel.

1. Before using this instrument, be sure to read this manual carefully.

2. The operator of the instrument should have common knowledge of electrical equipment or instruments.

3. The instrument should be reliably grounded when in use.

4. The power supply of this instrument is internal lithium-ion battery or AC220V±10%  50/60HZ±1HZ 

5. The instrument outputs high voltage, so pay attention to safety to prevent electric shock.

6. This instrument can be used indoors and outdoors, but should avoid use in harsh environments such as rain, corrosive gas, excessive dust, high temperature, direct sunlight, etc.

7. The instrument should avoid severe vibration.

8. Maintenance, care, and adjustment of the instrument should be carried out by professionals.

9. The yellow, green, red, and black test clips correspond to the A, B, C, and O of the transformer respectively. Do not reverse the high and low voltage cables.

10. For single-phase measurement, only use the yellow and black clips. Do not use them incorrectly, and unused test clips should be left suspended.
