Precautions and Notes:
1. This instrument is equipped with a range (test range) adjustment function. In use, you can reduce the test voltage as much as possible to lower energy consumption, extend instrument life, and reduce safety hazards. It also reduces test time and improves efficiency. It can also be used for grouping and screening, inspection, and discrimination. Users can fully and reasonably utilize this function.
Preset voltage adjustment range: 0V ~ 1800V
Range voltage adjustment range: 100V ~ 1999V
If the range setting or test value exceeds 1999V, the display shows an overflow signal "1".
2. The preset voltage value for discharge tube testing is the starting value of the 100V/S rate rising voltage and also the lower limit of the test range. The preset voltage for varistor testing is only used as the lower limit of the range for judgment; the actual lower limit of the test range always starts from 0V.
3. The preset voltage should be set lower than the upper limit voltage of the range. Otherwise, the test voltage will be under the control of the range (upper limit) limit. During varistor testing, there will be an over-range audible alarm buzzer sound after each test; during discharge tube testing, the green light will be repeatedly lit, accompanied by an over-range audible alarm. At this time, lowering the preset voltage will place the high voltage in the preset state.
