Automatic 500L Capacitance and Inductance Tester Product Application:
It is specially developed under the guidance of the expert group of reactive power compensation devices, aiming at the problems existing in on-site measurement of the capacitance value of individual capacitors in parallel capacitor banks at substations. It focuses on solving the following problems:
(1) On-site measurement of individual capacitors requires disconnecting the connecting wires, which not only involves a large workload but also easily damages the capacitors;
(2) The low output voltage of the capacitance meter leads to a low fault detection rate.
(3) Measuring the inductance of reactors. This instrument has the advantages of small measurement workload, quick and simple operation, stable performance, accurate measurement, and high fault detection rate.
In addition, its current measurement unit can also be used for measuring electrical equipment such as CVTs and arresters, providing multi-functionality in one instrument.
Automatic 500LCapacitance and Inductance Tester Precautions:
1. Test voltage: If the impedance of the test object is unknown, you can first test with 2V. If the test current is less than 1A, you can switch to 30V for measurement.
2. Current detection: Clamp the CT onto the part where current needs to be measured. For example, it can be clamped onto the lead wire connecting the capacitor, not necessarily the capacitor bushing. If measuring total current, it can also be clamped directly onto the voltage lead.
3. Clamp CT orientation: The front of the current clamp should face the red clip (i.e., 2V or 20V) direction. At this time, the instrument automatically distinguishes between capacitance, inductance, or resistance.
4. Magnetic field interference: It is recommended to keep the clamp CT at least 1 meter away from the instrument. If measuring an inductor with severe magnetic flux leakage, it is recommended to keep at least 1 meter away from the inductor.
