The function of the ground resistance tester is
1. Precisely measure the grounding impedance, grounding resistance, and grounding reactance of large grounding grids;
2. Precisely measure the surface potential gradient of the large grounding grid area;
3. Precisely measure the contact potential difference, contact voltage, step potential difference, and step voltage of large grounding grids;
4. Precisely measure the transfer potential of large grounding grids;
5. Measure the continuity resistance of grounding down conductors;
6. Measure soil resistivity.
The most advanced ground resistance tester abandons the traditional manual hand-cranked power generation working method, adopts advanced large-scale integrated circuits, and applies DC/AC conversion technology to combine three-terminal and four-terminal measurement methods into one model of a new digital ground resistance tester. It is suitable for measuring the grounding resistance of various devices and the resistance value of low-resistance conductors in departments such as electric power, post and telecommunications, railways, communications, and mining; this meter can also measure soil resistivity and ground voltage. Importantly, it measures whether the resistance of the ground electrode to the ground meets system requirements, and the state of ground resistance is very important for lightning protection, electrical safety, and impedance to ground voltage (such as the DC state of post and telecommunications, and the directionality and efficiency of radio stations).
