HTBF-81 Series Triple Frequency Generator Product Features

The triple frequency power generator adopts a three-core five-column structure, selecting the working magnetic flux density of the iron core above the saturation magnetic density, so that the vector sum of the fundamental electromotive force (positive sequence vector) in the secondary winding connected in an open triangle is zero, and the two ends of the open triangle should output the same-phase 150Hz third harmonic (zero sequence).

Principle

The triple frequency power generator utilizes the saturation characteristics of the magnetic circuit to extract the third harmonic voltage with the largest component among harmonics as the power source of the generator, conducting inter-turn, inter-section, and inter-layer frequency doubling and voltage doubling tests on inductive coil electrical products; to assess the insulation strength and withstand voltage level of the coil.

Parameters

1. Rated capacity: 5-100kVA; input three-phase 380V, 50Hz sine wave

2. Output 0-300V, 0-500V, 0-1000V (custom voltage available), 150Hz,

3. Waveform distortion ≤5%

4. Capacity: 3-150kVA

5. No-load operation time: ≤5 minutes

6. Load operation time: 40-60 seconds

7. Adopts a three-phase five-column structure, with simple process, and reduces the internal impedance and leakage flux loss of the transformer body, improving the efficiency of the generator.

8. Weight and volume are both smaller than the traditional three single-phase transformer banks, and it is equipped with a control box of corresponding capacity, making it convenient for on-site use.

9. This product can be used as a power source for induction withstand voltage tests on transformers and electrical appliances of corresponding capacity, or as a 150Hz power supply for short-term operation.

What is an Induction Withstand Voltage Tester?

The induction withstand voltage test refers to applying a voltage to the specified winding of the transformer that is not less than twice the rated power supply voltage, with a frequency not less than twice the minimum rated frequency; it is required that during the specified duration of this voltage, the winding shows no signs of burning, arcing, breakdown, or damage; it is also required that the no-load current and power consumption under the rated working power supply before and after the induction withstand voltage test do not change significantly. According to national testing standards, the induction test voltage for power transformers and voltage transformers is approximately 2-3 times the maximum working phase voltage. As is well known, when a transformer operates at rated frequency and rated voltage, the iron core is close to saturation. If a test voltage greater than the rated voltage is applied to the two ends of the tested transformer winding using a power frequency supply, the no-load excitation current will increase sharply, reaching an unacceptable level. The induction withstand voltage test for transformers and instrument transformers is an important test to verify that the product meets national standards.
