With the arrival of the cold winter, most residents turn on heating equipment between 7 PM and 10 PM, reaching the peak of residential electricity consumption. The power load increases sharply, posing a severe test for power supply equipment. To ensure the safe and reliable operation of power lines and equipment during winter, on December 14, the Transmission Management Office of Xingren Power Supply Bureau dispatched 5 employees to the 35kV Changbai Line and Dawan Line, which are located at higher altitudes, to carry out temperature measurement and anti-icing work using temperature measuring instruments. Once any icing that threatens line safety is detected, anti-icing and de-icing measures will be immediately initiated to ensure the safe operation of the power grid lines.
It is understood that since the beginning of December, the leadership of Xingren Power Supply Bureau has attached great importance to this issue, carefully deployed and arranged measures, actively taken strong actions, and strictly implemented safety responsibilities. They conducted a comprehensive survey to eliminate defects in on-site equipment and fully prepared for safety precautions. Taking the opportunity to strengthen the safety of power supply equipment and investigate and rectify hidden dangers, they enhanced equipment operation and maintenance management. Combining safety inspections and special activities for hidden danger investigation and rectification, they started from strengthening equipment inspections, reinforcing personnel responsibilities, improving emergency plans, and preparing spare parts and accessories. They made advance preparations for equipment cold protection and insulation to prevent equipment failures caused by low temperatures, thereby improving the reliability of equipment during winter. They further improved emergency repair plans and conducted emergency drills to enhance the grid's emergency response capability. They strengthened the analysis of winter supply-demand balance and power balance, reasonably arranged operation modes, and did a good job in load forecasting and monitoring.
