Overview of Variable Frequency Dielectric Loss Tester

Dielectric loss insulation testing can effectively detect overall moisture, deterioration, and local defects in the insulation of electrical equipment. It is widely used in electrical manufacturing, installation of electrical equipment, handover, and preventive tests. The anti-interference dielectric loss tester adopts variable frequency power supply technology, utilizing microcontroller and electronic technology for automatic frequency conversion, analog-to-digital conversion, and data computation, achieving strong anti-interference capability, fast testing speed, high accuracy, and easy operation. The variable frequency power supply uses a high-power switching power supply, outputting pure sine waves at 45Hz and 55Hz, with automatic voltage boosting, capable of providing up to 10kV voltage; it automatically filters out 50Hz interference, suitable for on-site testing in environments with strong electromagnetic interference such as substations.

Features of Variable Frequency Dielectric Loss Tester

        1. The instrument has high measurement accuracy and can meet the requirements for oil dielectric loss measurement. Therefore, it only needs to be equipped with a standard oil cup and dedicated test leads to achieve oil dielectric loss measurement.

        2. It adopts variable frequency technology to eliminate on-site 50Hz power frequency interference, ensuring reliable data even in environments with strong electromagnetic interference.

        3. Overcurrent protection function prevents damage to the instrument in case of short circuit or breakdown of the test object.

        4. Built-in standard capacitor and high-voltage power supply facilitate on-site testing and reduce on-site wiring.

        5. The instrument uses a large-screen LCD display, and the testing process is guided by Chinese menu prompts, which is intuitive and easy to operate.
