Inflatable High-Voltage Test Transformer (AC):
With the development of China's power industry, the voltage level requirements for test transformers are getting higher and higher, while the traditional Satons oil-immersed test transformers are increasingly unable to meet the requirements of on-site work in terms of volume and weight. The inflatable test transformer reduces volume and weight, making it more convenient for customers to carry to the site for testing. Disadvantages: high production cost and complex process.
With the progress of basic scientific research in China and the application of new materials and new processes, the new medium sulfur hexafluoride gas has been pushed into the application field of power equipment. Due to the excellent insulation performance, arc extinguishing performance, and non-flammability of sulfur hexafluoride gas, it has been widely used as a new insulating medium.
Test transformers are classified by medium or structure as follows:
Oil-immersed test transformer: large volume, heavy weight, large capacity, convenient maintenance, high later maintenance costs; mainstream product.
Inflatable test transformer: maintenance-free, good arc extinguishing performance, light weight, small volume, low partial discharge.
Dry-type test transformer: maintenance-free, light weight, small volume, can be placed upside down, high cost.

Features of Inflatable High-Voltage Test Transformer (AC):
1. This inflatable test transformer is small in size and light in weight (40%-65% lighter than oil-immersed test transformers of the same level);
2. Clean, no oil stains, no maintenance required;
3. Not affected by harsh weather conditions, can be tested immediately after on-site handling without waiting;
4. Insulation strength is significantly higher than oil-immersed test transformers, with extremely low corona. (The control part can be customized with overvoltage protection and overcurrent protection, i.e., dual protection function)
5. Types: AC, AC/DC, AC cascade, AC/DC cascade. Double overcurrent protection for safer testing.
6. If any current exceeds the set high or low voltage current, the voltage output is automatically cut off, reduced to zero, and an audible and visual alarm is triggered.
7. Safety zero position detection: has return-to-zero detection function, next operation can only be performed after confirming zero return, safe and reliable.
8. Suitable for partial discharge testing: can be used with partial discharge-free test transformers as the operating part of the partial discharge system, with system partial discharge less than 5pc.
9. Insulation impedance detection function: has insulation impedance detection function, directly reflecting the insulation strength of the tested object.
